Bees are important for our planet. The educational apiary is the essential structure to centralize all the activities of dissemination, training and advice in favor of bees, beekeeping and biodiversity, dispensed on the territory of Italian Switzerland.
Transferring knowledge
The Apiario Didattico, literally translated as the Educational Bee House, is of central importance for training and advising on bees, beekeeping and biodiversity. The Apiario Didattico plays a central role in the Italian part of Switzerland. It’s an essential instrument for beekeepers, students, professionals in the ecological field and the population in general.
Blue Planet and the Ticino Beekeepers Association share the same principles:
- The protection of the environment
- To raise the awareness of future generations
- Educate public opinion about the importance of biodiversity
- The education of wide groups will be beneficial to the ecosystem in general
- The focus on young people and lifelong learning will bear many fruits
- Furthermore, the Apiario Didattico will act as an interprofessional platform
